Our Homebase
Our house in Burfjord is the cozy starting point for all our adventures. After a relaxed breakfast, we set out from here each day for our tours. Throughout the week, it becomes our home away from home – a place where we can enjoy peace, togetherness, and the stunning surrounding nature.
Our Homebase serves as a functional and nature-oriented base for whale-watching activities. The building spans two full floors, plus an entrance area and a dark loft, providing ample space for organization, preparation, and relaxation. The upper floor features three guest rooms, offering comfortable accommodation for tour participants. A bathroom is also available, and broadband access ensures reliable communication and work capabilities.
On the ground floor, there is an additional WC, the kitchen, storage rooms, and the main common area. The living room on the ground floor is equipped with a wood-burning stove and offers a stunning view of the fjord. This makes it an ideal space for briefings, shared meals, or relaxing between excursions.
The south-facing terrace and small outdoor area create a pleasant environment for both guests and crew. The property also includes its own boathouse/naust with direct access to the sea, providing an excellent starting point for heading out to the whale-watching areas. Located in Burfjord, the base offers immediate proximity to nature, unobstructed views of the fjord, and excellent conditions for whale-watching tours as well as other outdoor activities.
It’s easy to do great things when you believe in what you do.
