Melanie - call me Melly

Captain, guide, deckhand, cook, photographer - and the extra pair of hands wherever the sea decides it’s needed. She lives for the fjords, the wildlife, and those unforgettable moments when guests see their first whale.

With more than four years of experience snorkeling with whales in Norway, her passion has never faded — every single time she enters the water, it still feels as magical as the very first. Equally, she loves being on the boat, quietly observing and listening to whale behaviour, fully present in the rhythm of the sea.

Her qualifications include a D5L licence, STCW 55h training, and a Whale Aware certificate from WCA. She is currently working towards becoming a certified whale guide.

For her, this is not just work — it is a way of life. She has dreamed of this path for over 30 years and puts her whole heart into everything she does. Honest, fun, and always up for a joke, she brings warmth, energy, and deep care for the well-being of every guest.

Her mission is simple: to create safe, meaningful, and unforgettable experiences at sea.

Paul

Born in 1998, Paul is a passionate marine biologist with a completed degree and a deep love for the ocean. As a certified and experienced diver, he feels most at home underwater, where his curiosity for marine life truly comes alive. He also brings guiding experience, combining knowledge with a calm and confident presence.

Beyond the water, Paul is an enthusiastic photographer with a great eye for capturing special moments. His friendly, humorous, and empathetic nature makes him easy to connect with, and he is always genuinely committed to the well-being of our guests.

Whether in the water or on the boat, Paul is there to support, guide, and share his knowledge. He is always happy to help, explain, and make sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and inspired by the ocean.

Tom Anders 

is our versatile guide and deckhand from Norway. A true all-round talent, he brings experience, skill, and infectious enthusiasm to every tour. With his open and friendly nature, Tom makes both guests and the team feel welcome and at ease. His passion for the sea and nature makes him an indispensable member of our team. 

Murat

is our dedicated deckhand and guide, whose love for whales is evident the moment you meet him. His humor is truly indescribable, and his empathetic nature makes everyone feel welcome and at ease.
